Great time but not the type of magic I expected
Whiskey Boulevard is charismatic and hilarious, engaging and entertaining the audience throughout the show. He brings a genuine streak of goodness to the experience, something I strongly believe the world needs more of. He is spontaneous in his comedic remarks, making you feel like he's someone I could be friends with, a sincerely good guy.
I was expecting fantastic appearing/disappearing tricks, and while there were a few amazing illusions, a significant part of the show was about predictions. Too much of the show was based on this type of trick for me. Audience members disappear, even a car appear, a dancing handkerchief in midair, or him shrinking himself in a box so his head and feet are together is more fun to watch than a set-up prediction.
"Random" people from the audience were selected (some were pre-selected before the show started) to answer or select certain questions, word cards, etc., and then Whiskey Boulevard would show how he had correctly "predicted" what they'd say.
